Community Treatment
Family Solutions can provide more intensive treatment services to families that are in need of additional skills training provided in the home or community. These services may be in addition to the child being enrolled in our other programs. Family Solutions provides in-home crisis counseling, protective parenting and other direct care services to families through the Strengthening, Preserving and Reunifying Families (SPRF) Program. This program is a contracted collaboration with DHS, and select allied treatment providers. Families are referred to this program through DHS – Child Welfare for short term crisis and stabilization services focused on improving safety in the home and connecting the family to on-going services. Children could be at risk of being removed from the home or needing services to return to their home after a previous removal that require immediate services to support reunification. All services are provided in the home and community with the focus to increase protective parenting capacities and overall safety and functionality for all members of the family.
