Who Your Donations Help

When twelve-year-old Sarah (name changed to protect privacy) arrived at our residential home, she had never celebrated a birthday. Not once had she blown out candles on a cake or opened presents surrounded by people who cared.

Her story – one of many similar stories we could share while respecting our children's privacy – reminds us why our work matters. Every day, we open our doors to children who have endured unimaginable challenges, to families desperate for support in helping their children heal, and to young people who need intensive therapeutic care to rebuild their lives.

How Your Donations Make an Impact

State funding provides the foundation for our essential services, but it's the generosity of donors like you that transforms our houses into homes and our programs into sanctuaries of healing. Your donations bring warmth and comfort to children who have known neither. They provide new clothing for a child entering foster care with only the clothes on their back. They fund art supplies that help young people express feelings too complex for words. Most importantly, they create moments of joy – birthday celebrations, holiday gifts, and special outings – that show these children they are valued and loved.

Why Your Donations Matter

The power of monthly giving lies in its reliability. When you become a monthly donor, you become a steady source of hope in children's lives. Think of Sarah's first birthday celebration – it wasn't just about the cake and presents. It was about showing her that she mattered, that her life was worth celebrating. Monthly donations, whether $10 or $100, allow us to plan these meaningful moments with confidence.

Your consistent support means we can respond swiftly when a foster child arrives in the middle of the night needing basic necessities.

It means we can stock our art therapy rooms with supplies that help children process their trauma. It means we can say "yes" when a child needs new shoes or a warm winter coat. Most importantly, it means we can expand our services to reach more children who desperately need our help.

Join Our Circle of Hope

Every child in our care carries a story of struggle, but with your help, we can change their story to one of hope and healing. When you become a monthly donor, you become part of a community that ensures no child faces their challenges alone. Your ongoing support tells these children that someone believes in their future – and that makes all the difference.

How can I support your services?

Financial contributions from individuals, businesses, civic groups, and foundations help us remain flexible in providing mental health services through the ever-changing challenges faced by our community. No gift is too small to make a difference in the life of a child.

Family Solutions is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization; financial contributions may be tax-deductible.

Other than making a donation, are there more ways I can support your programs?

Yes! Please follow Family Solutions on social media to stay up-to-date on how you can support our programs and “like”/share our posts to help us reach more people in the community!

Invite our team to provide a presentation about our programs to civic and community groups you are a part of.
